Executive Order 14042 (9-Sep-2021, “Ensuring Adequate COVID Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors”) requires employees of all federal contractors to be vaccinated. That means all employees of any company that perform contracts or contract-like work for the United States Government will be required to show proof of vaccination, proof of valid exemption, or lose their jobs.
“Lose their jobs.” Americans in the private sector, providing valuable services to the federal government will now be required to vaccinate or be fired. Put a liquid into their bodies, or be fired. Chemically alter instructions provided by their RNA or receive their last paycheck in December 2021.
Just a few months ago in April, Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi said she was not going to require Congress to be fully vaccinated. In an April 2021 press conference, she said, “So here’s the thing: We cannot require someone to be vaccinated. That’s just not what we can do, it is a matter of privacy to know who is or who isn’t. I can’t go to the Capitol physician and say, ‘Give me the names of people who aren’t vaccinated so I can go encourage them to,’ or make it known to others to encourage them to be vaccinated.”
Amazing what a few months can do to someone’s perspective.
On July 29th, President Joe Biden announced additional restrictions, “…imposing requirements to protect our federal workforce and those they serve…” requiring vaccines for all 4+ million federal employees across the world, which laid the ground work for the unprecedented mandate mentioned above which holds all federal contractors to the same standard.
Contrary to many who disagree with the mandate, I don’t believe this a coordinated power grab. I believe it is simply well-meaning altruism coming together to use all available government power (and then some) to try and save lives. We all know what they say about the road to hell though, right? Freedom will be taken away from us, one “good policy” at a time. Now is the time to take a stand for the marginalized unvaccinated population, especially if you’re vaccinated.
